Tina Alexander

Hi there, I am a Registered Dietitian who is passionate about integrating nutrition with fitness and lifestyle to assist individuals in achieving optimal health.

I didn’t want a dietitian, and I didn’t want to talk about anything food related. I was struggling with an eating disorder and actively protesting my recovery. I had previously worked with, and in my opinion burnt out, 5 dietitians - in both outpatient and inpatient settings. So when I walked into lucky #6, Ms. Alexander, I was already convinced that I could deflect her efforts with the thick wall I had created to protect myself, my eating disorder, my sense of security. What I wasn’t aware of is that somewhere beneath those thick layers of protection, I wanted my life back. Ms. Alexander recognized this and began a completely new style of treatment. She thought outside the box, yes nutrition was vital, but so was quality of life. She saw me as an individual, not a diagnosis. We partnered together to make real changes, and I am so thankful for her help. She was a vital part of my recovery.
